Teesside based artist Holland Simpson has been drawing since they were a child and creating narrative driven art since 2017. They take inspiration from fantasy, folklore, old comic books and cartoons, and their own experiences being LGBT and neurodivergent. They mostly see themselves as stepping into tiny fictional niches in media and fleshing them out beyond recognition (which would probably be more impressive if they had the forethought to write everything down).

Holland completed their MA in July of 2022 and is working on multiple personal projects.
